And now, I'm tired!
After seeing fresh snow on the website and after being woken up slightly earlier than pleasant, I thought it was a good day to head up and catch first lift. Althought the 2cm of fresh was little more than 'dust on crust', it was still nice to play in and there was the odd wind-blown pocket with some nice powder in.
Not having any real aim to my skiing, I went solo and took a fair selection of photos and have included a few* of my favourites below.
Continental Divide Express, and someone better than me coming down South Divide with the meadows and Mount Assiniboine in the background.
The entrance to the South Side Chutes (double black runs)
The view of the Village, Silver City and Twin Cairns from the top of Wildside
*I can only upload 4 photos at a time, in case you haven't noticed... At least it prevents me from bombarding you with endless picces!

Over 100 posts - that is impressive and we have all enjoyed them so very much. The variety of your escapades of late make for very interesting reading and its no wonder you feel a tad tired at times!
Glad to hear you got the portering sorted over such a hectic period, a job from hell on your own but different again when you can share the tasks with humour. No doubt your swelling bank account will ease the frustration of the former.
It was good to read the account of the hockey match - you wouldn't have had a true Canadian experience without it. Don't forget you have a puck that was given to you by the Barretts - not even sure if it came from a 'Flames' match.
The mountain photos are truly superb and its no wonder you enjoy a blast down those runs - (and its no wonder you've probably worn out your boots). Anyway the fleece you picked up at a bargain price sounds ideal (any joy with replacement skiwear too?).
Have a great weekend. Much love. x
