Lazy Day

Friday was a Lazy Day. I spent most of the day at home, checked emails etc, and found that someone had sent me a message telling me that the deadline for applying for Student Finance for the upcoming University term was 2 days away! Sudden panic as I try and find out what my NI number is, finding course codes and funding literature. But a little further searching revealed that it's not the fixed deadline, only the last day you can apply to get the money on the first day of term. So I can wait a month or so, then get a loan from the Bank of Mum and Dad.

In the afternoon, Kay and I took the two dogs, and the housecat which thinks it's an outdoor cat, for a walk in the mud. Bailey (the cat) didn't have long enough legs to trudge through the snow, or firm enough pads to walk on the dirt, so he soon decided it was a bad idea and that he was a housecat after all. He meowed at us from the road as we walked off (it's OK, said Kay, he'll find his way home). So Kay and I took Badger and Sas for a tour of the 'neighbourhood'.

I can't remember what happened that evening, but I'm sure Kay made an excellent meal and I'm positive it was delicious!
