Ahh, 4 days off...
I went into work again today- at 9:00, so had a mini lie-in.
While at work, I had some more fun! I made scallops-in-bacon, escargot pots, and Shrimp Neptune (?) before I got told to get back in that washpit. I'm hoping I can do a bit more messing of utensils and less of the cleaning- but they don't want to train me since I won't be working there very long.
After finishing at 5:00, I had a well-deserved shower then made some more tuna pasta bake, undercooking the pasta but managed to save it by stewing it with the tuna and occasionally adding boiling water.
This evening I'll wander into town to meet the other BUNACers, and tomorrow I will lie in until bed stops being more comfortable than the alternative.

I have thoroughly enjoyed your updates, thankyou. The kitchen prep must have made an interesting variation to your working day, so hope you get a few more of those. Congratulations on the new job plans - it will give you the luxury of making a choice which is better for you in the long run. Hope you had a nice time with the other BUNACers (did they know each other before or have only hooked up since arriving in Canada?)
All is fine on the homefront, David's work looked a bit thin on the ground but more children have joined the FunHouse so he's been given a few more shifts again. We went to Center Parcs last night - it was mobbed in the pool (half term and all that) poor old life guards, no daydreaming for them. Dad and I thought the wave machine motion had changed - I felt decidedly queasy. (That, or my age...) Our clocks go back next Sunday - do yours change? Hope you enjoy your days off. AML XXX
