Lazy day 1
Got up nice and late. Went to the kitchen to find someone had stolen my butter... so I had cereal and milk (which ran out) and 6 pancakes and syrup.
The rest of the day has gone pretty uneventfully. I ventured up to the HI to meet up with some of the BUNACers. I fretted and worried about where I am going to live if I quit my job at The Keg. So I probably won't... I guess then that the SameSun will be my home for quite a while. It's very nice here, anyway. But this means that I will be working every single day for 8 months.
Tonight I'll probably be cooking bangers and mash for the little group I have joined up with here at SameSun. But they're mostly relocating to HI or rented accommodation later this week.

Wow! Sounds like the 4 days off is an excuse just to bum around canada for your remaining days. whoa, I have to say that from what your blog has been saying, its a well deserved rest. Are you planning to stay at that job then as the benefits are very nice indeed.
I went round to Josh Duncan's house on Saturday night which was nice and woke up just in time for car racing. Well, I have to say that my new Brushless Xray is amazing! Really fast and brilliant handling, overall a very good night and I am very pleased with myself. As mum said, we went to centre parcs, however afterwards, Josh came round ours for the night so 2 nights on the trot of staying up till 2 am and then waking up at 11 :D. However today, as mum wasn't in, we stayed in pj's till 5 pm lol.
However, that was just in time to go racing again, this time at Melksham car club, the racing was very good, when my car worked and I came 3 whole laps ahead of the person who came second (there were even 6 people in the heat) and the last person coming 7 laps behind me :D I was very pleased with that also.
keep up updated on the blog about all your updates, I check it everyday so I soon know if anything is updated, good to know your news, speak to you soon bruv!

Colin, you still stuck in Banff? Mind you, hearing what everyone's saying at the SWAP offce here, I'm ot suprised there's much going up at Calgary, as Whistler is pretty popular down here a the moment too. You've to be the hockey god or Jesus to get a decent job there, although we do have a job fair next week with some of the resorts coming down and giving everyone who wants them interviews...just a suggestion!
Anyways, finally stopped raingintoday so I could get a good view of the mountaing across from Vancouver - breathtaking, and they're busy taking bets in the papers as to whether the mountain will open early tis year. I must try and come and see you when I get some time off - just started at The Gap, so if you need any cheap clothes, you know where to come! Hope to hear from you soon!!!
